Members of the Air Cadet Organisation aged 14 to 25 can put their cadet activities towards gaining a Duke of Edinburgh’s Award and earn international recognition for their efforts.
The Air Training Corps is the top achieving operating authority of the Award.
Whilst cadet training will contribute significantly towards your Award you are encouraged to look at other activities outside of cadets when you participate. Simply completing your Air Cadet activities will not be enough to gain a Duke of Edinburgh’s Award - it will require extra effort.
The squadron currently has a group of 11 cadets who are starting out on the Bronze award.
The table below shows the minimum ages you can start each of the award levels and the minimum time it will take for you to complete a particular level.
